You Are Good Enough

Knowing who I am won't allow me to let another One forget it... What I mean by that is the days of being treated in a way that does not edify is over... You don't have to be there for me, do anything for me, love me , honor me, or respect me... but I will most definitely not condition myself to be abused, misused, ignored, overlooked, neglected, dishonored, not considered, and treated as if I am not the Goddess, I am.  When I see this, and feel it... I will effectively, and expeditiously give you all the room you need to be who you are without my presence...

I know I am a precious gift, and that can be like a weapon in this world.  A very necessary weapon that removes you from painful bullshit... This society hates that you can make such declarations of your worth and inner and outer beauty... They much rather you need someone or something unqualified to quantify and qualify you.  They need you to believe you can't live without someone or something.... It is not true...

There is not one person in my life right now, that I cannot live without.  Not One... That doesn't mean I don't Love or won't love them forever but I do not subject myself to unnecessary sorrow to prove the loyalty of this world system...My loyalty is first to care for me... This is Cosmic Bliss Narcissism 101.  I will not hold onto anyone or anything that does not feel good.  That does not mean I won't work with the people I love to mend fences, but I will not work against them.  I will not force you to see me, or appreciate me.  I will not try to convince you I am worth the effort or time...Fuck that~

Too often we are looking to mold situations that are not fruitful against the will of the other Being... Let go and let live... Too many people are willing to appreciate and honor us, to be dealing with folks that haven't quite figured it out...

Create with those that want to co-create deliberately... Heaven is at hand... we choose it by the choices we make... No more unnecessary hells.  You are allowed to be loved and appreciated.  You are allowed to change your mind.  You are allowed to move on.  You are allowed to be Loved.  You are allowed to be cared for and considered.  You do not have to suffer to have anything...

Our Deepest Fear

Written by Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us. We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

MOVE ON!

Written by Tyler Perry

https://www.facebook.com/TylerPerry/

Here’s a thought (I DON'T WANT YOU TO DO THIS, JUST THINK ABOUT IT). Get into the front seat of your car, then turn your body around. Knees on the front seat with your back on the steering wheel, your face looking toward the trunk.  Stay in that position and try to drive the car forward.  It’s impossible, right? If by some miracle you do manage to go forward I guarantee you won't get very far.  If the car represents our lives then the way we are sitting in the driver's seat represents the way we approach it.  It’s really hard to move on when you’re looking the wrong way. There is nothing wrong with the car... what is wrong is the position some of us are sitting in, meaning there is nothing wrong with your life, and you’re just facing the wrong direction.

There are many things that can cause you to be out of alignment with life, but instead of focusing on the many, I’d like to talk about one thing in particular... And that is GUILT.

I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday. He was telling me about all the guilt that he feels. Guilt that his marriage fell apart. Guilt that he doesn’t get to see his kids very often. Guilt that he’s not in a financial position to do more for them. Guilt over the mistakes he’s made in his past. Guilt over lots of money that he wasted doing the wrong things.  So much guilt about everything.

I had to stop him and remind him of a few things. What I know about guilt is this: guilt is a tool that is used to destroy you. We all make mistakes. We all have fallen short.  We have all disappointed someone, including ourselves at some point. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it.  It's done. Instead of beating yourself up about it, how about putting that same energy into making sure that it doesn’t happen again and healing anyone who may have been hurt by it?

You can’t let guilt win or consume you.  You can’t let it take over your thoughts because if you do, you will start a downward spiral. It’s like this... guilt is the trick that makes you feel that you’re unworthy, and if you feel that you’re unworthy then you will feel that you don’t deserve any good thing to happen to you.  And so, as a man thinks so is he. If you think you don’t deserve good things you will never have good things.  And when things are falling apart you will feel guilty that they are falling apart.  Do you see the cycle? There is no winning here.  In order to be free and be lifted you must let go of the guilt or it will keep you bound.

How do you do that? Well, it’s a process, but you start by asking forgiveness of whomever you hurt, ask forgiveness of God, and most of all ask forgiveness of yourself.  Although God forgives us most easily, we sometimes can't forgive ourselves.  You can’t get to great things ahead if you're always looking behind you.  It’s like trying to drive your car in that awkward position.

Attitude Is Everything

by Jim Rohn

The process of human change begins within us. We all have tremendous potential. We all desire good results from our efforts. Most of us are willing to work hard and to pay the price that success and happiness demand. Each of us has the ability to put our unique human potential into action and to acquire a desired result. But the one thing that determines the level of our potential—that produces the intensity of our activity and predicts the quality of the result we receive—is our attitude.

Attitude determines how much of the future we are allowed to see. It decides the size of our dreams and influences our determination when we are faced with new challenges. No other person on earth has dominion over our attitude. People can affect our attitude by teaching us poor thinking habits or unintentionally misinforming us or providing us with negative sources of influence, but no one can control our attitude unless we voluntarily surrender that control.

No one else "makes us angry." We make ourselves angry when we surrender control of our attitude. What someone else may have done is irrelevant. We choose, not they. They merely put our attitude to a test. If we select a volatile attitude by becoming hostile, angry, jealous or suspicious, then we have failed the test. If we condemn ourselves by believing that we are unworthy, then again, we have failed the test.

If we care at all about ourselves, then we must accept full responsibility for our own feelings. We must learn to guard against those feelings that have the capacity to lead our attitude down the wrong path and to strengthen those feelings that can lead us confidently into a better future.

If we want to receive the rewards the future holds in trust for us, then we must exercise the most important choice given to us as members of the human race by maintaining total dominion over our attitude. Our attitude is an asset, a treasure of great value, which must be protected accordingly. Beware of the vandals and thieves among us who would injure our positive attitude or seek to steal it away.

Having the right attitude is one of the basics that success requires. The combination of a sound personal philosophy and a positive attitude about ourselves and the world around us gives us an inner strength and a firm resolve that influences all the other areas of our existence.
